Symptoms

Readers wired to an MP-02 are not receiving power.

Cause

To conserve power, the MP-02 is designed to disable unused reader ports.

Resolution

1. Disconnect power from the MP-02
2. Disconnect the reader from the reader port
3. Wait 5 minutes for all power to drain from the board's capacitors
4. Connect the reader to the reader port
5. Apply power to the MP-02
6. Ensure the reader is receiving power
