The Events and Alarms windows, as well as the Navigation and Ribbon menu's all support the ability to be unpinned and thus hidden. When these are hovered over with the mouse cursor, they will then be displayed.
- Events Window: To auto hide the Events window, the option "advanced window control" must be enabled from the File | Options menu. When enabled, the auto hide icon is displayed in the top right hand corner with a pin shaped icon. Select this icon again to disable the auto hide functionality. The Events window must be docked along the top, bottom, left, or right hand side of the application. To dock the window, drag and drop the window to the correct docking anchors.
- Alarms Window: To auto hide the Alarms window, the option "advanced window control" must be enabled from the File | Options menu. - Ribbon menu: To enable, select the auto hide icon is displayed in the top right hand corner with a upward arrow shaped icon. Select this icon again to disable the auto hide functionality.
