Access It! has a modernized ribbon menu taking place of the legacy file menu. The ribbon is comprised of two categories, Main and View.
Main
- New: Create a new item, this is only available in screens where items can be added.
- Edit: Edit the selected item, this is only available in screens where items can be edited.
- Delete: Delete the selected item, this is only available in screens where items can be deleted.
- Copy: Copy the selected items properties to the clipboard, this is used in conjunction with paste.
- Paste: Depending on software screen, will either create a new item or edit the selected item and insert settings from copied object. Item names are not copied by design.
- Commands: Will send the selected command to the selected item, commands differ throughout the application.
- Reports: Opens a report menu allowing for quick access to the device specific reports. Reports can then be displayed on screen or printed to a printer.
- Site Selector: Used by Enterprise class systems only. This allows for selecting the site(s) displayed within the application. Depending on the system option 'allow for control of a single site', this menu will display as a drop list, or a multi-site selector tool.
View
- Themes: Allows for control of the color schema used by the software.
- Preview Pane: When enabled, will display a preview of the selected items properties.
- Reset: Will reset the window layout and column layout to the factory default. Used in cases where window placements have been so customized, it is a hindrance to system use.
- Select Columns: Opens a column selector tool allowing for column to be dragged and dropped to/from the selected window.
- Events Docked: Displayed when not using the system option "advanced window control". When unchecked will display the Events screen in a separate window.
- Alarms Docked: Displayed when not using the system option "advanced window control". When unchecked will display the Alarms screen in a separate window.
- Maps Docked: Displayed when not using the system option "advanced window control". When unchecked will display the Maps screen in a separate window.
