The Zenitel intercom integration allows the local workstation to interact with an Alphacom controller. All intercom control stations must be connected to the Alphacom controller as all output commands are processed by the controller.
Access It! Universal.NET Licensing
The following licensing option must be enabled within the Access It! Universal.NET dongle and is a per client license.
- Intercom Integration - 1/x
- DVR Integration - 1/x
Only required when using using video enabled intercoms.
While DVR Integration licensing is utilized, there is no video recording.
Enable Intercom Integration
This is enabled on a per workstation basis.
- Click File
- Click Workstation Settings...
- Select the Integration tab
- Select the Enable intercom Integration checkbox
- Click Save
Adding The Intercom Controller
- Navigate to the hardware tree from the navigation pane
- Click Intercom Controllers
- Click New
- Enter the name for the Intercom controller
- Select the Intercom controller type - Zenitel AlphaCom Driver
- Enter the IP Address
- Enter the Port number (The default is 61112)
- If communicating over a wide area network (WAN), select the Remote Connection checkbox
- Click Save
Adding Intercom Stations
- Select the Intercom Controller
- Click New on the Stations tab
- Enter Station Name
- Enter Station ID
- Click Save
- Restart the workstation
Video enabled intercoms require the Zenitel Video Intercom Viewer File.
Enable DVR Integration
While the Zenitel integration is using the DVR section there is no recorded video.
This is enabled on a per workstation basis.
- Click File
- Click Workstation Settings...
- Select the Integration tab
- Select the Enable DVR Integration checkbox
- Click Save
- Restart the workstation
Adding Video Intercoms
Each video intercom must be added as a new video recorder
- Navigate to the hardware tree from the navigation pane
- Click Video Recorders
- Click New
- Click Other...
- Navigate to the Zenitel Video Intercom Viewer File
- Click Open
- Select Zenitel Video Intercom
- Click Ok
- Enter the name for the Intercom controller
- Enter the Viewer URL
- Click Save
Adding Video Intercom Cameras
- Click New on the Cameras tab
- Enter a camera name
- Leave Camera ID blank
- Click Save
When using the Zenitel AlphaCom Integration, a macro can be associated to a specific reader to unlock the door from the handset by pressing the number '6' and then hanging up the handset
AlphaPro v11.7.3.2 needs to be installed for successfully unlock a reader
- In AlphaPro, Click System & Exchange
- Click Events
- Define a new event by selecting Insert
- Create an Event
- Owner Type - Stationid
- Add the corresponding ID for the intercom station
- Event Type - 2 -Door opening - During connection
- When to Change to drop-down set to ON
- When Related to drop-down set to ALL
- Select the Action Command checkbox - Enter the the string: @*d1 M7F01 %1.ref U0 W1 W0 W0 W0 W0 W0
Unlock Door Command from Zenitel Handset
- Navigate to Main
- Select Macros
- Select New Macro
- Name the Macro appropriately
- Click Next
- Select Grant Access command and add the specific reader to grant access to
- Click Finish
- Navigate to Hardware
- Select Intercom Controllers
- Edit the Intercom Station at the respective reader
- Select the Events tab
- Associate the Grant Access Macro under the Door Open Request Macro drop-down
- Click Save
