Enabling SIO encryption will encrypt the traffic between SCP and the SIO with a 128-bit encryption key. Every 24 hours the SCP will generate a new 128-bit key. Series 3 SIO's support AES128 and AES256 bit encryption and is enabled by default when used in conjunction with an LP series or EP-4502 controller.
The following models support encrypted communication:
- EP-1502 min f/w 1.6.3
- EP-2500 min f/w 1.6.3
- MR-50 min f/w 1.37.3
- MR-51E min f/w Always Encrypted
- MR-52 min f/w 1.36.5
- MR-16IN min f/w 29.0
- MR-16OUT min f/w 29.2
- MR-DT min f/w N/A
